Special Needs

In order to make "The Retreat" a Success and raise money for Sarah's Home we need your help. Please pray about what God would have you do to help in this effort.

  • Money for "The Retreat" and Sarah's Home - still coming in - ALL BILLS COVERED - RAISED OVER $5,000 For Sarah's Home
  • A Licenced and Insured Concessions Vendor - Hawg Food Fire Grill
  • Private and Corporate Sponsors (for both) - GOT THEM!! - Sarah's Home needs Corporate Sponsors to help maintain their facility once open
  • "The Retreat" Helpers (for before, during and after the main event) - (oh I would say approx 20+)
  • Prayer Partners for both - Continued Prayer for both
  • Volunteers to help spread the word - received media attention from Channel 11 and Channel 8 News, Battlefield Ministries Ryan Krause challenged those who follow him online to pray, come and donate and they donated $2,850 to Sarah's Home, and we had more volunteers spreading the word! YEAH!
  • Donations for Silent Auction - Autograph t-shirt by Mark Schlereth (former Bronco Player - Smokin Good Green Chili) - A couple of Photographers - Gorgious painting, Football Autographed by John Elway - Fun Basket, Shelve Units, Coffee Table, Recumbant Bike, Scentsy Candle Basket, Texas Road House Gift Certificate, Love Plaques, Books, Camera, and more.... Raised $946 so far and its still going with all we have left over: Tv, Book, Apple Chip & Dip Set with possibilities of more items on the donation list.
  • New House Hold items for Sarah's Home (they are registered at Target) - they are receiving from those around them.
  • Photographers & Videographers - Jenica Bjornson & Shelby Underwood took them for us.
  • Outdoor Sound equipment - able to use COTR's outdoor sound equipment
  • A few leaders to help us lead the teams of Volunteers - Everyone stepped up to the plate really didn't need any PTL :)
  • Tables & Chairs (make sure your names are on them so they can be returned) - use of tables and chairs from COTR - we had plenty

VOLUNTEER JOBS:

“The Retreat” Helpers JULY 7th: Setup,Crowd Control, Ticket booth, Collections, Silent Auction directors, Activities Assistance, Clean Up. You will need to be available the entire day.


Volunteers to help spread the word: Tell business ask to hang posters and or sell tickets. Tell your friends, neighbors etc.


Photographers & Videographer: Need assistance taking video and photos for next years event (2013)
Outdoor Sound Equipment: Need assistance running all sound for the event.


Guest Speakers Liaison: Need a volunteer to help assist guest speakers & keep time frame for speaking times.


Information Booth / lost and found personnel: Need a few volunteers to assist with possible lost/found items as well as handing more information on how to help either Sarah’s Home or “The Retreat” further.


Last Minute Volunteers: Need volunteers willing to help with last minute details should we have some.


Volunteer Coordinator: We need a coordinator who can help with other volunteers & leaders for various groups of volunteers.


Delivery Team: Need a group of people willing to travel with us after “The Retreat” to deliver any tangible items to Sarah’s Home. Date TBD
